Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the much awaited Maruti Swift 2011 after a long wait in India. The new Swift 2011 official price in India starts at Rs. 4.22 Lakhs Ex-showroom Delhi for Lxi (base petrol)variant and goes up to Rs. 6.38 Lakhs for the Zdi (fully loaded diesel) variant. The car has already received over 50,000 booking before the official launch event. The production capacity of the Swift has been increased from 12,000 to 17,000 units per month.
The new Maruti Swift has many new improvements over the previous car. First thing, which is not visually noticeable is that car has increased in size and every body panel of the new Swift 2011 is different from the previous one. Apart from this, the head lamps, tail lamps, hatch door, interiors, etc. have all gone through an uplift. The engine and suspension have also been re-tuned for better performance and fuel economy.
