ANDHRA PRADESH STATE TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (APTET) - 2012

How to apply:  Eligible candidates have to fill the application through online from the APTET website rom 01-11-2011 to 26-11-2011. The following are the instructions for filling online application form are mentioned below

Instruction for filling online Application Form:1. Applicants have to apply through online from the http://aptet.cgg.gov.in/ between 01-11-2011 to 26-11-2011.
2. Before applying online, applicants shall first download the information bulletin and user guide from the APTET website and go through it carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing AP TET.
3. Before apply online, applicants pay the examination fee through AP online or E-seva centers between 31-10-2011 to 25-11-2011.
4. The applicants shall follow the procedure of submission of online application as given the information bulletin.
5. Applicants paste a recent passport size photograph on a white paper and sign below, after that scan their photograph and signature.
6. Applicants enter the journal number issued by AP online, the date of payment of fees and date of birth enter in to correct manner at the time of online apply.
7. Applicants filled online application form; applicants upload the photograph and signature and attach the space given in the application form.
8. After filled all details by applicants press preview option, other wise press edit option and resubmit the information.
9. After successfully submitting online application, applicants shall be given reference ID number, which should be kept carefully for future reference and use.
10. After completion of online application, the applicants take a print out of the online application and keep store it for future use.

The APTET Examination pattern:

The AP Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) examination is an objective type paper with multiple choice questions (MCQs). APTET test will have no negative marking.

The APTET examination will consist of two papers: Paper I and Paper II with a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes for each paper.
a) Candidates interested to be a teacher for classes I to V have to appear for Paper I.
b) Candidates interested to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII have to appear for Paper II.
Important Note: Candidates interested to be a teacher for both levels (ie., for classes I to V and VI to VIII) have to appear for both Paper I and Paper II.Notification for

  • Last Date to Apply Online : 26-11-2011
  • Payment of Fee : 31-10-2011 to 25-11-2011
  • Issue of Hall Tickets : 24-12-2011 onwards.
  • Date of APTET 2012 : 08-01-2012 (Sunday)
    • Paper-I : 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon
    • Paper-II : 2:30 PM to 5:00PM
  • Declaration of APTET-2012 Results : 28-01-2012
Eligibility : Candidates who have passed D.Ed / B.Ed / Language Pundith & equivalent qualification
Fee :Rs. 300/- Payable at e-Seva / AP Online Centers from 31-10-2011 to 25-11-2011

Important Note: Applicants who failed to qualify in the APTET 2011 conducted on 31st July, 2011 can also apply for the APTET 2012. Also, the applicants who has qualified in the APTET 2011 can apply for the APTET 2012 to improve their previous score.
