Hyundai has revealed the first photo of the new generation i30, ahead of the car world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011 (IAA) this week, showing a new look and exciting for the company’s best-selling C-segment hatchback I30. Designed and built at Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center in Rüsselsheim, Germany, the i30 represents a new generation evolution of language only way Hyundai, “fluid sculpture,” displaying the company’s DNA distinctive design. Thomas Bürkle, Chief Designer at Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Centre, commented: “The i30 new generation is recognizable thanks to the Hyundai family face with his signature and the hexagonal radiator grille design in jewel-like headlamps, together with the distinctive use of day light. These lights have an angular shape within a recess smoother edges,adding a strong personality to the vehicle, as well as a sense of refinement and luxury. “” Through the profile of the new generation i30, a strong character line runs the front and rear wheelarches all the way to the tail lamps. The character line smoother, lower side of the car rises creating a play of light and shadow – a fundamental characteristic of fluid sculpture, “concluded Thomas Bürkle.
